At Vishwa Shanthi Dance Academy, we are committed to educating students in the sacred art of Bharatanatyam, the classical dance form of South India. Sahana Kumar, Sarika Rajan, and Kirthana Warrier — all post-Arangetram students of VSDA — embody this spirit as they continue their artistic journey beyond the traditional debut performance, deepening their connection to the art form while sharing it with the community.

Training at VSDA emphasizes not only the perfection of form and technique but also a deeper understanding of the rich culture and mythology that Bharatanatyam conveys. To further develop flexibility, endurance, and body awareness, the curriculum also incorporates Yoga and folk dance. Annual productions provide students across levels an opportunity to showcase their excellence on stage.

With classes held across several Northern California locations, VSDA thrives under the artistic direction of Shreelata Suresh and a team of dedicated senior teachers who are accomplished dancers in their own right, bringing both expertise and diversity to the school.
